Rolling my Thoughts on ........
I see more comments on "Strong Punishment to Rapist". I partially agree with temporary arrangement. I have my different view on this. Its like cutting a hand on mal-function than fixing it. Emotionally sounds good. But we are in the midst of serious severe social problem. Its high time that we stay calm and deeply think about the root-cause and move towards solution. Reasons are silent in short-term but vilent on long-term. Delhi police strenghtened the security in tihar jail for rapist and we have our women insecured in the country...We are by-product of below reasons....it all boils down to
"LACK OF EMPATHY & VALUES"...
1. Education with no Values. Real education is to facilitate a some-one to live a self-sustained practical life, accept failures and success equally, live a passionate life to be part of empowering society. But we have Cat-rat marks based education with no moral grounds.We compare our child with neighbours with marks. IIT suicide ratio proves it. Big marks with no immunity towards life.
2. Media with hot-news, flashy content immoral competency, cinema/advertisement showing girl as attractive package. History is we have enjoyed and encouraged it, the sales have proved it. We are by-product of slow, progressive poison injected into us by un-ethical media.
3. Very important one. We and ourself. We give more likes to Aishwarya Rai than social figure. We celebrate celebrities not activists. Funny people we are.....On such delhi situation we just put a like or comment and move on...but the roots are deep.....
4. No joint family system. Every thing is nuclear. The name is right "Nuclear". The bomb in making. No Grand Pa's, Grand ma's no story telling, no ethics, no values, Father and mother works round the clock. Evening tuition, music, swimming, abacus, hostel, video games, no mingling with normal human beings, how to treat apposite gender? nobody teaches...bank full of money....child full of pocket money and empty empathy.....
5. Brands-Consumerism. Flat systems, loans, empectations/purchase beyond our wants, discounts, offers, crazy about brands, costly gadgets, etc...poor guy we are in deep deep trouble. How can a shirt, shoes, ray-ban glass, Benz Car, rolex watch would yield respect to us? Our attitude $ Skill is the only fitting that will uniquely identity or brand us. Pathetic.
Whatz the solution?
Change the eduction system, lifestyle, mind-set towards ethics, values, empathy, skills, sports, no homework, limited syllabus with practical scientific case-study, Discuss/forums on generic topics, communication,improve people-social flexibity ratio, add psychology, culturals( mean no fashion ramp walk :-)), music, etc. Please let the child what he/she is passionate about. No loading, evening play, love from veterans, parent at home, play with neighbour, frequent interactions.
Participation: share small works. Change the mindset means mothers-> Cooks always in kitchen,washes clothes, etc. Dad->office, gets money. This should change. If you cook, let child cuts vegetables, wash clothes let him get the water, let him wash his tiffin box and let him know what is done to create/move everyday, everthing. ...He will know the value for people, money, effort and progressively learn life slowly. Then you drop him free to world, no issues. More money, more friends, new place, dangerous situations, no problem. His foundation is quiet strong with family & value system...He is asset to society...and social friend to everyone....
Remember, Women play different roles as wife, mom, sisters, in-laws, etc and we entered the world through her........Deeply cracked on her escape from this mistery world.. Sorry as a citizen. Feel ashamed as I belong to dominant gender.
